"Eric Brown and Hilltop Landscape were recommended to us by a local resident as we began remodeling a newly purchased house on Lake Martin. They absolutely surpassed our expectations by a mile. We worked with Eric for about 10 months planning our new landscape. No one can believe that the large boulders that form a retaining wall and surround our patio by the lake are not natural to the property. The transformation lake side is incredible. We also had major issues at the front of the house with water drainage because the property sloped down to the house. Eric’s solution was brilliant. He put in a dry creek bed to catch and carry the water around the house. Again, it looks like it has always been there. "We hired Hilltop in 2008 during the construction of our lake house. Eric and his team came out several times for consultation before presenting a plan. They were very easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable about the different varieties of plants and hardscapes that would offer color and texture to our landscaping. The team did an excellent job of managing the drainage to prevent erosion and Eric really has a unique ability to look at raw land and to be able to visualize the potential. Within one growing season it looked like our landscaping had been there for years. Four years later, we couldn’t be happier. We have color in the yard year round and the landscaping invites you into the house. We continue to work with Hilltop Landscaping as we are “bringing the woods back to the house” where we had to clear during construction. I would never use anyone else."

“We have worked with Eric and Hilltop for about 5 years and have found them to be responsive, conscientious and price competitive. Their design and ongoing maintenance of our landscaping at Willow Point has been greatly appreciated but nothing compares to recent work they just completed. We have been planning to do some work at our dock for a while and after getting permission from APCO to dig out under our boat lift, we were ready to go. Then the recent heavy rains raised the water level by 3 feet. This effectively eliminated the ability to complete our desired work and rendered our dirt work worthless. That was until Eric and his team figured a way to pump the water out, wall up the sides and get a slab poured before the next rains came . I can’t thank Eric and Hilltop enough for their marvelous work.”
